It’s good to have ideas and come up with theories. It’s even better when they become world standards. PNA can proudly claim to have a leading position in developing open knowledge standards.

These constitute recognition of the scientific basis on which PNA works – not as a goal in itself, but functional and practical. Time after time, we have pioneered solutions that go further than technology. We are constantly searching for open knowledge standards that add value to companies, their objectives and the processes behind them.

OMG_logo-blue@2xFor example, last year we worked actively with the Object Management Group (OMG) on developing the world standards BPMN 2.0 (Business Process Model and Notation), SBVR (Semantics of Business Vocabulary and Business Rules) and DMN (Decision Model and Notation). Following that, we included these standards in our cogNIAM® method, which has made us the world leader in the field of integral knowledge modeling.

Founded in 1989, the Object Management Group is a consortium whose work includes the development and acceptation of world standards in the IT knowledge sector. Nowadays the focus is on designing models and standards for programs, systems and business processes. As a member of the OMG, and representative of the OMG in Europe, PNA is very closely involved in producing and further developing various standards.
